HOW TO FIND DROL KAR BUDDHIST CENTRE

From Melbourne

Take the Princes Hwy and the Geelong bypass Freeway, follow the directions to the Anglesea Road.
Travel along the Anglesea Rd for approximately 12km, passing through the town of Freshwater Creek (80km limit). Turn right at the second Moriac turnoff, C135, into Hendymain Rd. *Travel along Hendymain Rd for about 6km. Watch out for the sign to Drolkar Buddhist Centre just where the road forks. Take the left fork into Grays Rd. Travel along Grays Rd for about 1.5km. Turn left into Flaxbourne’s Rd — look for the second Drolkar sign. About 2km along Flaxbourne’s Rd, you will cross Nortons Rd. The main driveway to the house (only for residents, their guests and disabled patrons) is in Nortons Rd. The car park for Drolkar Centre patrons is off Flaxbourne’s Rd just past the corner near the mailboxes.

From Torquay

Travel along Coombes Rd. Cross the Anglesea Rd into Hendymain Rd, C135, then follow the directions as above.*
Or
Travel along Grossmans Rd until you reach the Anglesea Rd. Turn right and travel along the Anglesea Rd until you reach Hendymain Rd, C135. Turn left and follow the directions as above.*

From Anglesea or the Great Ocean Road

Travel along the Great Ocean Road towards Geelong. Approx. 3.5km from Anglesea, turn left into Forest Rd. Travel along Forest Rd for 6 km. Turn right into Flaxbournes Rd. Travel along Flaxbournes Rd for 3.5km. (Watch out for kangaroos). The car park entrance for Drolkar Centre patrons is off Flaxbourne’s Rd, on the right, just before the corner of Nortons Rd.
Alternately
Travel along the Surfcoast Highway taking the alternate route to Geelong through Bellbrae. Just past Bellbrae, turn left into Hendymain Rd C135 and follow the directions above*
