The Sacred Footsteps from the Roof of the World 2009 Australian Tour wound up recently with the completion of the 22nd mandala event over the six month period April to September.
The tour was extremely successful once again due mainly to the inspired leadership of Geshe Sonam Thargye, spiritual director of Drolkar Buddhist Centre, and the dedication and wonderful service of the visiting monks from India.
The tour was supported magnificently once again by people on the home front in the Drolkar community and also far afield by our hosts and benefactors in all twenty-two locations. without their kindness, generosity and support, the tour would not be possible.
The monks returned home to India as planned on Monday 28 September.
